I invented (or rather, curated) the PURPOSE Method after I took over a headless team that had no clear idea why it was doing what it was doing – or why it was doing it that way.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to save that team or project. I was new to the company, unfamiliar with the product, and had to merge two teams while also trying to motivate my own team.
But I quickly realized how crucial it is to get everyone on the same page – to share information, clarify goals, and create a sense of unity and motivation.
So I started collecting everything needed to make that happen and shaped it into a compact, easy-to-remember, and practical framework – one that I could apply in other situations where teams, leaders, or stakeholders needed to be onboarded quickly and clearly.
This method has helped me (and others) in a variety of projects, that’s why I want to share it: to help improve project and product management for others as well.
Because, as we all know: sharing is caring.
